About Us

The company Rionil Compostos Vinílicos Ltda., which is an expert in the manufacture of vinyl compounds in Brazil, was the branch of representative chemical groups for 29 years. In September, 2007, it was acquired by its Chief Executive Officer.

Organized in 1978, it counts on the Technical Assistance of the pioneer company DORLYL/ARKEMA , which, since 1964, manufactures PVC compounds for food packs in France and throughout the world, and also counts on the assurance of supply of the major PVC producer in Brazil and Latin America: BRASKEM.

The registered office of Rionil is located in Duque de Caxias/Rio de Janeiro, and it comprises the entire production, laboratory and management areas. The Commercial Department is responsible for serving the clients and it is located in São Paulo, being closer to the majority of clients of the company.

The manufactured product is marketed either in powder or granulate form through the transformation processes of the following raw materials:

PVC Resin + pigment + plasticizer + stabilizer + lubricant + impact and flow modifiers

The compound is classified in several classes: mineral water, oils, cosmetics, general use and film.

In Brazil, there are other companies in the sector, in addition to Rionil. However, what distinguishes Rionil from its competitors is the quality, price and service it provides, as, within the polymeric sector, Rionil is the company that is more flexible in terms of supply, fulfilling its clients’ requirements.
